OUR MIGHTY GOD.
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6 NLT
TODAY’S THOUGHT
Jesus came to be “Mighty God.”
Have you ever thought about your image of God? They tell us we tend to create an image of God that is based on our life experiences. Sometimes that image is of a limited God, angry God, sad God, or even an absent God.
God loved the world so much that He sent His Son Jesus to earth to reveal His might and authority to humanity. Jesus is our Mighty God.
He demonstrated His might and authority when He walked on water in the middle of a storm, He commanded nature to be still, He spoke life into a dead man and a 13-year-old girl. He opened blind eyes and healed the man with leprosy and the woman with the issue of blood. Jesus overcame lack by feeding five thousand with five loaves and two fishes.
Is there anything our God can’t do?
What problem do you have that is so big God can’t solve?
He is Mighty God!
