BE STILL
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.”
Psalms 46:10 NLT
TODAY’S THOUGHT
Activity is the addiction of our western society. We take pride in how busy we are. It is viewed as a badge of importance to be busy and rushing around. Even going to sleep at night can be a problem because we are over-stimulated.
Being still is "old-fashioned" and "outdated." But perhaps our Creator knows us better than we know ourselves. Even the Creator rested on the seventh day--not that He needed the rest but perhaps to set a precedent for humanity that we need times of being still.
In our busy and loud lives, we often miss God. We forget that He is God. We forget to honor Him. We like to pretend that we can handle life by ourselves. News flash--we can't!
Take a few moments today to be still, read God's Word, and discover that He is God.
TODAY’S PRAYER
Today I declare that Jehovah is God. I invite the Holy Spirit to inspire my thinking and impact my heart with the presence of Almighty God. May God be honored through my life.

10 months ago I was in a car accident and my car was totalled. I haven't worked in 10 months. God sat me down to be still, listen, get my relationship back with him and understand that I can't do anything without him. I'm so grateful 🙏🏽 for this time with him and being still and learning patients. Now since I've because of my obedience he has opened up the flood gates. I have another car and I've had plenty of job opportunities come my way. I'm so humble 😌 and know how to slow down, listen and stop moving without God ordering my steps
